A Better Crane provides training and testing for Signal Persons. OSHA published requirements when a signal person is required in the 29 CFR 1926 subpart CC on August 9,2010. Under the new rule a signal person is required when the operations are not in full view of the operator, the operator’s view is obstructed where the equipment is travelling, and the operator or the person handling the load determines it is necessary to have a signal person because of site safety concerns.
