A Better Crane provides training and testing for Riggers. OSHA published requirements for Qualified Riggers in the 29 CFR 1926 subpart CC on August 9, 2010. Under the new rule employers must use qualified riggers during hoisting activities for assembly and disassembly work. Employers must also use a qualified rigger when workers are within the fall zone and hooking or guiding a load. A qualified rigger must also be used when doing the original connection of a load to a component or structure.
